Orcia Miseria. When surviving was a remedy – Recipes, rituals, legends, culture of a territory The typical dishes and recipes of the sharecropping family from the beginning of the century up to the sixties, narrated "from oral memory," are the glue, the common thread of a journey through the events, culture, customs, and rituals of the Val d'Orcia territory. The reasons for this volume are all inscribed in the mission of the Val d'Orcia Park: to be an instrument of active protection not only of the ecosystem but of the territory in its most complete and broad sense, where man is the protagonist of the becoming of places and events.
